Shoreview, MN – On Friday, July 13th, Johnny Rzeznik of the Goo Goo Dolls gave a private benefit performance for a Concert on the Lake.

Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County’s disaster recovery efforts are gaining attention.  As we continue with our efforts to get people Home After Harvey, we strive to build our capacity in order to increase our pace of repair and rebuilding.

Collegiate Challenge is Habitat for Humanity’s year-round alternative break program. Begun in 1989, Collegiate Challenge is designed to empower communities and create environments where exchange and interaction between student groups and community residents can take place.

We have a lot of love for CommunityBank of Texas.  They recently donated $5,000.00 to HFHOJC’s ongoing operations. 

We are so grateful to have the support of so many companies in SETX.  We could not continue to build and restore affordable housing in the Golden Triangle without the backing of our community.

Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County is actively recruiting for several positions in Beaumont, Texas.  These are 10 month, full-time contract positions through Americorps. 

Hurricane Harvey devastated Southeast Texas. So many homes were flooded, it’s hard to imagine the scope of the damage. Most of the clean up is done, now it’s time to rebuild.
