The Apostle’s Build groundbreaking ceremony was held on August 27th and included leaders from many of the churches who have been involved in this build for more than 10 years.
It’s always hard to find volunteers to work in the hot Texas summer, so we were grateful when Thrivent sent a group of volunteers for a week, mid-July. They spent the week in Orange, Texas building a home for Ramona Duggans. Ramona came out and worked alongside the volunteers.

On Sunday, March 3rd, Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County dedicated a new home for the Glasper family.
Fall Luncheon 2018
The Fall Luncheon fundraiser was held at the Beaumont Country Club on November 8th.
In December of 2018, Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County broke ground on a rebuild of a home for Sammy Jones of the Charlton Pollard neighborhood. This rebuild was made possible by the generous donations of Wells Fargo, the American Red Cross and ExxonMobil.
